Terrassa City Council Education Department (Spain):
Patronato Municipal de Educación is an independent organism from the Terrassa City Council that manages the Education policy of the city. The City Council promotes since 2001 the educative strategy of city, in order to plan the educative policies of the future. From its activities it arised the need to create the Council for Vocational Training, created in 2002. Among other multiple activities this Council co-operates in the organization of in company placements for vocational training students. For 4 years the City council has been granting 2 annual internships abroad that they allow that the students increase their experiences in foreign companies. The educative centers and the business community of the city encouraged us to take part in Q-Placements in order to develop a methodology that improve the quality of internships in different countries from Europe, with the objective to increase the number of mobilities.
